after a hard day's work

Although it scares me a little, we've kept up with the tradition we started last year: when we've done a day of yardwork, the reward for the kids is a ride in the trailer. Would this make you nervous? (I just plain worry about things too much. There's got to be SOME thrill to life, and at least we're making memories here!)

Alisha, that made us laugh so hard! That sounds like James...SO responsible!

Oh my goodness James, lol...I am nervous just thinking about that! INSANE!

Alisha's comment triggered Jeff's memory of some funny James stories...to be a kid again.

When I was a kid my grandpa used to attach a flat bed trailer to the lawnmower and pile the kids on. We had no walls to keep us in, and occasionally one of us fell off. It was all in good fun, though.

Val, you will never want Teagan to give your kids a 4 wheeler ride, huh?! I love it! Keep the tradition alive!!!

That looks fun!!! I worry about stuff that Jon does with Sam. But he always is just fine. I think it's just the mother in us!

Oh and... Sam is never going sledding with Uncle James ;)

The only concerning thing to me here is that James is looking BACKWARDS most of the time!

that looks fantastic! This is when I wish we had a trailer like that so dad could give me some rides! Holy cow! This is possibly the best tradition ever, and I'm pretty sure they'll remember it! oh man!

Melissa, I've thought the same thing as I've rewatched this video! Keep your eye on the road!
