With office move #1 behind him and the networks all stable, James finally had a chance to play! We headed up to Winchester, VA (about an hour away) and went to the Shenandoah Children's Discovery Museum and a nearby park. With weather in the 60's, this is the kind of winter we hope stays!
Today we also got to have GOOD mexican food. We've missed it SO much since we moved out here. Aaaah, to have a chimichanga again. YUM!

Hey! Caroline is wearing the same hat I got for Olivia and Jillian when we went and visited! Did you get it on purpose? Well, it looks like you had a fun day off.. Brett needs one too! He didn't get MLK day off ;(

I have wanted to ask you ex-Coloradans...how do you feel about missing out on the HUGE storms that have plagued your old home town?
I'm loving the fact that we have not a single inch of snow yet this season! All of the emails from our friends in Colorado show their homes, kids, etc. with MOUNDS of snow. Not something I particularly miss. ;)
The kids do miss the snow. In fact, a funny comment from Rachel says it all:
After Christmas I was having her help me pack up the decorations and she stopped and said, "But Mom, it hasn't snowed yet." Like we couldn't possibly be putting those things away. So to them, Christmas isn't Christmas without the snow!
Oh...and the hat! When I was clearance shopping a few weeks ago I saw the hat and thought that we just couldn't leave Caroline out!
(She really needed a hat though, and it was the only one there on clearance...)
