This is totally my LIFE! The song rang so close to home--had me laughing, tearing up and empathizing with this Dad who truly KNOWS what life with kids is all about!
Especially the last minute of the song is so sweet...something I need to keep in mind! Take a listen...

How sweet it is! He does know just what parents go through, doesn't he? Someday he will miss all that chaos and noise, if only for a moment!
LOL! Bedtime used to be my favorite time of the day, but ever since Morgan started sleeping in her big girl bed, it's awful and I just dread it. It takes at least an hour to get her to sleep now...it used to take 5 or 10 minutes.
Oh this is great Valerie. What a talent that man has, and I bet Pacabel is screaming with laughter! You're right, the ending is very sweet and touching. I love that his little girl got on the camera there at the end - that was like dotting the "i" and made it that much more endearing.
I particularly relate to the part about the "...cryng and the moaning and the whining and the screaming and the tantrums and the yelling..." AND "..what is that familiar sound, [his] little tiptoe nearing, [his] little steps approaching, no it can't be what I'm fearing..." AND "[he's] staring right at me...I nearly wet the sheets upon my bed." This guy is right on. I can replay the events from last night right along with this song. Thanks for sharing, Val!
