Today we had Elder and Sister Hammond speak to us in church. What an awesome couple. It was so great to see how happy they are serving as our Temple President and Matron.
When Sister Hammond spoke, she asked the congregation if we knew how blessed we are to live in "paradise". We knew EXACTLY what she meant. So many times as we've gone into the city and are driving home we tell each other the same thing. Fauquier County has a different feeling than any other place I've been. There are just rolling trees and farms and life's pace is slower. The tension just leaves as you hit these country roads.
Yesterday I was sitting out in my adirondack chair, just enjoying the breeze...watching the kids ride their bikes and play on the swingset. Life just doesn't get better than that!

It sounds like paradise. We can't wait to see it...hopefully sometime in the next year.
