progress

Today I finally took some progress pictures of our path. We were given the advice to wait until September to do the landscaping. It's nice to have an excuse NOT to work on this...for another two weeks. It's been a ton of work, and given us the best tans of our lives (which isn't saying much for me). ;)

What's left: landscaping consultation, top soil, plants/trees and mulch. (And more sand in the cracks...there's always more sand to brush.)

Oh, it's looking great! I've been waiting to see these pictures. I'm excited to see what you decide to do with the landscaping.

that really looks great! Did you lay the pavers yourself?

Thanks...we laid 6" of gravel, 1" sand, the paver edgers and then the paver stones--that was the fun/easy part. What was hard was getting it all level (which we did better in some places than others.)

And, we had just brushed sand into the cracks in this picture. The color really is more gray, but the sand makes it look that beige color in the pictures.

That looks GORGEOUS!!! Great job!!! It looks like a lot of back-breaking, really hard work, but my goodness - what a beautiful walkway!

And that Miss C. is a cutie!
