Eliza's poem

I'm finally getting around to posting this!

Eliza's poem was published in the September 2009 "Animal All-Stars" edition of Zoobooks Magazine. Here it is for your reading pleasure:

Animal champions are everywhere
On the ground or in the air,
Deep in the water, or up on the shore
The jungle and grasslands, forests, mountains and more...
Cheetahs are fastest, ants strong for their size
Gorillas are smart, owls supposed to be wise,
Moose have antlers, crabs have claws,
These animals are awesome, they defy animal laws.

That's a great poem AND I love the picture. Very thoughtfully artistic. Fitting for a young poet :)

I love it! I used to write poems when I was young and smart. I won a contest once. Maybe I should start up again...

Congratulations, Eliza!

BTW: The picture is very fitting for a budding poet. ;)
